"P" Week, Papa Piccolo and Our First School-wide Chapel

Week of September 4-7

Sound of the Week - "P"
Book of the Week - Papa Piccolo
Habit of the Month - Obedience
Moms of the Month - Lee Group - Kelly Gordon  Jernigan Group - Lisbeth Fay

Our First Chapel is Wednesday, September 5th at 8:30 a.m. in the Hanger.  Kelly Gordon and Lisbeth Fay will be attending with our class, but feel free to attend.  Please review appropriate Chapel attire on School website or Mrs. Jernigan's email from last Thursday.

The students jumped right into a regular routine last week with "F" week.  We were  thrilled to see how well they adapted to Handwriting without Tears program and enjoyed our Book of the Week.  Please see photos to the right of our Human letter "F" and Amberly Deavours reading to the class on Thursday.

Our study of "P" this week and BOTW Papa Piccolo will include many of the same daily activities with Handwriting without Tears and Saxon Math hands on activities.  Thank you Kelly and Lisbeth, our September Moms of the Month,  for visiting this Thursday to experience Italy and the letter P.  During our Special Event Thursday, students will make their own mini-pizza, take a "Gondala" trip through the Canal of Venice (like Papa Piccolo), paint the flag of Italy as well as take part in other letter "P" activities.   Please be sure to read our Book of the Week (Papa Piccolo) and return the next school day.

Have a blessed week.
